Neosight™ is a company of
software architects who have
pioneered the use of a Model
Driven Architecture (MDA) approach to
software development as early as
1998.
The aim of MDA is to separate
business logic from the
underlying technology. This
increases the value of the
intelectual property held in the
software as it can be changed and
redeployed much more effectively,
helping achieve the goal of agile
enterprise.
By adopting the first MDA
framework available (Bold for
Delphi) in early 1999, Neosight
experienced an increased
productivity and predictability
of several orders of magnitude
and succesfully delivered large
mission critical business
software systems for the finance
industry.
Comforted in its MDA vision by
such positive experience,
Neosight decided to invest in
the success of BoldSoft, the
small but high-profile
Stockholm-based high-tech company
behind the Bold technology.
With the inclusion of the Bold
technology in Delphi Architect
and the subsequent acquisition
by Borland Inc. in October 2002,
Neosight launched the first
version of its complementary product
suite to Borland's MDA
offering, positioning itself as
the leading provider in this
field.
